Taken from a fragment of block-printed fabric held in the V&A collection, this all-over print uplifts a delicate floral trail that was originally produced as a furnishing textile by Miles & Edwards, one of Britain’s most influential decorating firms of the early 19th century. Margie pays tribute to a country garden and looks just as fresh as it did 180 years ago.
